Representing Bedford, the Pee Wee Spirit Squad competes in Tampa Florida at the AYC National Competition. Showing the strength of NH Cheer, Bedford, Milford and Franklin/Tilton having swept the Pee Wee Level at NE Regional’s are all there.
In a day that the Pee Wee team hit their routine perfectly, they were rewarded and thrilled to hear:
"The Pee Wee Small Red 1st Place trophy goes to, from New England, the ....
BEDFORD JAGUARS!!!!!"

For the first time ever, all competitive Jags teams go to a well attended New England Regional Spirit Competition.
Teams from Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts all converge on Manchester, and the best of New Hampshire for the great day of Cheer competition.
In a first for any Jaguar team, the Pee Wee Spirit team takes First place earning Bedford their first National bid.

For the second time in Jaguar History, a Bedford Jaguar Junior Midget team wins a State title.
The JRM's win, firmly put the Jaguars on the most watched list.

For the first time in Jags History all participating Jaguar Spirit teams bring
home trophies from the AYC State Meet held in Durham.
In doing so, all
teams earn a bid to the New England Regional Competition held in Manchester over
Thanksgiving day Weekend.
The Junior Pee Wees are the First JPW team to
earn a bid to Regionals.

The team that has come all the way up through the Jaguar Program together made it to another State Championship Game!
In the Fall of 2000 they were the first Mitey Mite team in Jags History... and my how they have grown!
They went to the title game as Jr. Pee Wees, Pee Wees, Jr. Midgets, and now as Midgets.
Say what you will about the Buffalo Bills of the 1980's but WOW, what an accomplishment!

The Bedford Jaguars hold their first ever Black & Teal Ball at The St
George Greek Orthodox Church in Manchester. The night was filled with fun,
dancing, and a fabulous dinner provided by the Outback Steakhouse.

The Jr. Pee Wees defeat the Manchester South Sabres to earn Bedford our First Ever State Championship for football. Final Score 7 - 0.

10/30/04 : 2 Spirit Squads Bring Home Trophies!!

The Bedford Jaguars Pee Wees and Jr. Midget each earn a Second Place finish at the NH State Cheering Competition. Both teams will travel to the New England Regionals in Rhode Island.

10/01/04 : Jaguars Send Three Squads to the Post Season
|
Three Bedford Jaguars football teams earn playoff berths.
The Jr. Pee Wees and Jr. Midgets each finish the regular season at 7 - 1, and are seeded first, earning a first round bye. The Jr. Pee Wees would go on to win the State Championship.
The Pee Wees also at 7 - 1 are seeded 3rd. The Pee Wees win their first round game over the Manchester West Raiders, then lose in the semi finals to Merrimack.
The Jr. Midgets win their semi final game and lose a close one in the State Finals, 7 - 0 to Hampstead.

09/19/04 : Midget Team Earns First Ever Win!

After an 0 - 8 first season, and beginning 0 - 2 this year, the Midgets earned their first win ever, playing host to the Kingswood Lancers. Final Score 38 - 12. This also marks the most points scored ever by the Midgets!

08/29/04 : Jaguars Field Two Mitey Mite Teams!
|
|
After a record 66 eligible Mitey Mites sign up to play football for the Jaguars, two teams, the Teal & Black Teams, are formed. Teal played on Preston Field and host the Nashua PAL Force in their first ever game. Teal team wins. Black play host to the Laconia Chiefs at Sportsman' Field and come up short.

11/09/03 : Pee Wees Play in Title Game

The Bedford Pee Wees lose to the Keene Knights 24-0, in the Championship game. This marks the first ever appearance for the Pee Wees in the Title Game.

11/02/03 : Pee Wees Win in Semi-Finals!

The Bedford Jaguars defeated the Seacoast Titans 13 - 0 in their first ever Semi Final Game.

10/25/03 : Pee Wees Place fourth in the State Spirit Championships

The Bedford Jaguars send four teams to compete in the NH State Cheering Competition. This is the first year Bedford had a Midget team and thus, their first year at competition. This day marks the first ever trophy for the Jr. Pee Wees, as they take home a 4th place finish!

Bedford Jaguars are defeated by the Hudson Bears. This ends the Mitey Mite Winning Streak at 26 Straight Games. Quite an accomplishment!
The last Mitey Mite loss dates back to September 17, 2000 when the Jaguars lost to Hooksett. Time to start another Winning Streak !

Jr. Midget Cole Warren recorded the First Ever Field Goal in Jaguar History. The 28 Yard Field Goal gave Bedford their only points in the 8 - 3 Loss to the Concord Capitals.

Bedford Jaguars introduce a Midget Team to the program. For the first time ever, we play 5 Home Games at Preston Field. Bedford wins 3 of 5 and the Midget Team suffers it's first ever Loss, 32 - 6 vs. Franklin.

The Bedford Jaguars travel to Keene to meet the Nor Rock Vikings for the Division 2 State Championship. This marks the first time any Jaguar team has made it to the Finals! Nor Rock would take the crown on this day, 18-7 was the final score.

The Mitey Mites complete their perfect 8-0 season with a 20-0 win over the Pelham/Windham Razorbacks. This makes 2 straight un-defeated season for the Mitey Mites and have not lost a game since September 17, 2000.

The Jaguars open the 2002 campaign with 4 victories over Laconia! This would mark the First Ever Jaguar Sweep of an opponent, and the First Sunday the Jaguars would win 4 Games!

Pee Wees end 15 Game winless streak at Concord to post their First Ever Win and Shut Out, 12-0 over the Concord Capitols!
The Mitey Mites close out the season on this day with a 34-7 victory over Londonderry. This marks the First Un-defeated Season in Jaguar history.

Folks up the booth would play "Who Let the Dogs Out?" for the very first time on this day. It has been a Jags Theme Song ever since.
That week this song by the Baha Men was listed at Number 44 on Billboard's Hot 100 Singles list. They also performed at Game 4 of the World Series at Shea Stadium, New York.

Lee Burnett publishes the First Ever edition of The Roar of The Jaguars. This serves as the official History letter for the Bedford Jaguars. The Roar is published weekly during the season.

09/10/00 : Jaguars Play First Home Game
|
|
The sun rose up over the trees, goalposts were rising in front of Soccer nets! There were different lines drawn on the grass. Pretty soon groups of padded and protected seven and eight year olds started to arrive wearing black helmets and teal and white jerseys. Their coaches brought them together in the center of the field and they began to go through their stretching and warming up. While pounding on shoulders a roar was heard. These were Mitey Mites!
Then seven angels appeared. They were dressed in teal as well, but their chants were well rehearsed and rhythmic. These were the Mitey Mite Cheerleaders!
This morning marked the return of Pop Warner Football to Bedford. The Bedford Jaguars opened their home schedule against Franklin. Opening Day was filled with fun. Three games went on, while parents, fans and Boosters packed Preston Field! In between the games folks met for a Police escorted caravan through Bedford, which was, by far, the most fun of all! Decorated cars and trucks hooted and tooted through town, while cheerleaders filled the back of a pickup truck, draped in Jaguar flags. The excitement of football in Bedford has finally been realized! Players cheerleaders, coaches, volunteers, boosters, and parents should feel very proud of what you have accomplished.

The Bedford Jaguars play their First Ever Games. Bedford traveled to Pelham to meet the Razorbacks!
Mitey Mites defeated the Pelham/Windham Razorbacks 13-0 for the First Jaguar Win at any level! Nick Astarita will go down in this record book as scoring the Jaguars First Touchdown along with Eric Feehan who ran in the First Extra Point!
Jr. Pee Wees and Pee Wees suffered their First Ever Losses on this day as well.
